Supporting a new gateway for Kansas athletics and campus life

Hillsdale Fabricators provided structural steel fabrication for major upgrades to David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium and new multi-use space as part of the University of Kansas’ Gateway District redevelopment. Hillsdale Fabricators served as a sub-fabricator to Doherty Steel, Inc., supporting the stadium’s reconstruction and adjacent improvements that help reshape the university’s northern edge.

Hillsdale Fabricators’ scope included perimeter columns, raker beams, raker truss beams, stub raker beams and plate girders, forming critical structural elements of the upgraded stadium and surrounding spaces. The project is designed to create a more versatile, connected destination that supports campus life and game-day experience.
