St. Louis Flood Protection

Hillsdale Fabricators was selected to fabricate new flood gates and permanent closure structures to protect the St. Louis riverfront against flooding from the Mississippi River. Using our nearby river yard, we prefabricated and shipped the project’s large swing gates. We worked closely with USACE and installation contractor Kienlen Constructors to address design and logistical issues that arose during construction thus avoiding delays to budget and schedule.
