Hillsdale supplied 20,000 tons of steel for the Kearl Froth Project, a key component at the Oil Sands development operated by Imperial Oil. Fabricated at our 250,000-square-foot facility in St. Louis according to Canadian Welding Bureau standards, steel for the 500+ modules was then shipped to Edmonton for assembly. In addition to fabrication and delivery, Hillsdale also performed connection design, detailing, fireproofing and material procurement while meeting demanding schedule requirements and upholding the highest safety and quality standards.
