On Saturday, October 14th, team Big Iron participated in the Tough Mudder 2017 in Sedalia, Missouri. Alberici’s Big Iron tough mudder team included 3-time Mudder Kevin McGinnis; 2-time Mudders Kenny Flowers, Rick Kayser and Ryan Schroeder; and first-time Mudders Doug Engle and Dane Law.
The Mudder is designed to challenge participants both physically and mentally. Billed as “probably the toughest event on the planet”, this grueling endurance course consisted of covering 11 miles and overcoming 24 obstacles. While each individual has to be prepared for the challenge, the course is almost impossible to complete alone, requiring a great deal of teamwork and motivation. Members of the Big Iron team had a great time encouraging each other in the months leading up to the event, and literally pulled each other through on Saturday.
