Steel Fabrication
Since 1958, we have earned the reputation of a capable and dependable structural steel fabricator delivering a diverse mix of work, including bridges, flood control structures, heavy beam and column, long-span trusses, custom platework, and complex pipe structures. We have the equipment and the skilled craft to deliver complex steel fabrication projects with unwavering commitment to quality and schedule.
Coatings
Our climate-controlled, 40,000-square-foot coating facility delivers consistent results in every season. Self-performing the application of complex coatings streamlines coordination, eliminates subcontracting risks, and maintains tight control of both quality and schedule.
Steel Erection
We are an AISC Advanced Certified Steel Erector (ACSE) and can self-perform all work, including large, complex structures. We offer a complete fabrication and erection solution with unified management from preconstruction through project completion. Seamless coordination and planning of fabrication, preassembly, and installation start early on with constructability reviews and detailing of the project. Our own workforce embodies our safety culture, has been trained to our standards, and consistently performs higher than our peers.
Design Assist and Preconstruction Budgeting
Working collaboratively with the design team, we provide value analysis, budgeting, and schedule validation. An example is to work with the structural engineer to optimize material sizes for cost and availability. Getting our team on board early and working through design together can save the project up to two months on schedule.
Early Steel Procurement
Early collaboration with the structural engineer allows us to secure space in mill roll schedules prior to issuance of IFC drawings to counter long material lead times and to mitigate escalation risk, helping maintain schedule and cost certainty.
BIM Coordination, Detailing and Engineering
Our engineers and detailers will work directly with your project team to ensure accuracy, clarity and smooth execution. We help translate your design criteria into reality.
Barge Shipping
Our river assembly yard just north of downtown St. Louis on the Mississippi River, affords access to the most significant inland waterway system in the United States. The site supports fabrication and final assembly of large structures that can be received by water including bridges, heavy civil, power plants, oil & gas, and other industrial facilities. We have delivered structures greater than 300’ in length complete with MEP, and single pieces weighing greater than 240 tons straight to the hook, on congested project sites.
