Rehabilitating critical infrastructure along the Illinois Waterway

Hillsdale Fabricators supported rehabilitation efforts at the Marseilles and Starved Rock lock and dam facilities, providing fabrication and coating of large stay-in-place forms for navigation locks. The work was part of upgrades to aging 1930s-era infrastructure along the Illinois Waterway.

Hillsdale Fabricators fabricated 116-foot, 55-ton forms with a specialized protective coating system designed for long-term durability in harsh marine environments. The work supported complex rehabilitation efforts requiring precise installation of heavy embedded components in constrained conditions.
