Ameren Environmental Program

Ameren Corporation, Missouri’s largest electric utility, selected Hillsdale Fabricators as prime steel contractor in support of its Environmental Upgrade Program. The program included work at three power stations, Portage des Sioux, Duck Creek and Coffeen, supporting major environmental improvements.

Hillsdale Fabricators provided structural steel and ductwork for SCR systems, scrubbers, coal-handling transfer systems and associated buildings and support structures. Of the 16,000 tons of structural steel and ductwork fabricated for the program, approximately 7,500 tons were delivered to Coffeen Power Station.
