Hillsdale Fabricators fabricated and erected 13,500 tons of structural steel for General Motors’ Lansing Delta Township Assembly Plant, the world’s first LEED-certified automotive assembly facility.

The 1.7 million-square-foot, campus-style plant includes a body shop, general assembly area, administration building and visitor arrival center, all connected by 101,000 square feet of elevated conveyor and utility trestles. The integrated layout supports a continuous production process, with raw coiled steel entering one end of the facility and finished vehicles exiting at the other.
